Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or subscribing to Broomed ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Software.

2. License Grant & Device Limits

Broomed grants you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software in accordance with your subscription tier:

  • Single-Seat License: Each Pro subscription entitles the account holder to one (1) concurrently active desktop device.
  • Device Transferability: You may transfer your license to another computer at any time by deactivating your previous machine in your Account dashboard.
  • No Reverse Engineering: You may not disassemble, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the proprietary binary components.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Broomed Pro is billed on a recurring subscription basis (monthly or annual billing cycle).

  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled prior to renewal.
  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel anytime from your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, you retain full Pro access until the end of your prepaid billing period.
  • 14-Day Refund Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with Broomed Pro, contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase for a 100% refund, no questions asked.

4. AI Gateway & Fair Usage

Online AI features (including text summarization and image analysis) are provided as an optional cloud enhancement. While we do not impose arbitrary micro-fees, excessive automated or abusive querying of the AI Gateway is subject to rate-limiting and quota controls to protect infrastructure availability.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BROOMED BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.
